Danielle Waters has more than 28 years of global business management experience with organizations in both the private and public sectors primarily in the Travel, Technology & Expense industry. She has held a number of senior executive positions with multi-million-dollar P&L responsibility while managing complex business partnerships in the travel and hospitality industry. A problem solver and business advisor specializing in business transformation, strategy development, brand development, commercial marketing, dramatic growth strategies and acting as a catalyst for change through building high-performance, customer-focused teams. Her experience spans North America, Europe and Asia.
A proven business leader and Board Director with a broad range of experience on both public and not-for-profit boards. Danielle is currently in her third term on the Greater Toronto Airports Authority as a Corporate Director where she is helping to lead Toronto Pearson Airport into its next evolution as a global mega hub. She chaired the Human Resources and Compensation Committee for 3 years and continues to be an active member on the HRC committee as well as the Audit Committee and is a former member of Planning & Commercial Development and Governance & Stakeholder Relations. In addition to her committee involvement, Danielle made valued contributions to both the 20-Year Strategic Planning and Extreme Weather Operations Ad Hoc Committees. Having joined The Bruce Trail Conservancy in 2017 she was appointed as Chair of the Human Resources Committee and a contributing member of the Fundraising Committee and sits on the Government Relations Task Force.
Danielle holds the ICD.D designation through Rotman School of Business and is a graduate of Humber College.
